I was told if you adjusted the settings you would be able to watch other states stuff from your satellite network such as living in cali and watching stuff in colorado, is this possible by changing the azimuth and elevation?
It is possible, but not by adjusting your dish, it has to do with programming.
However:
Doing anything like this can carry some serious consequences including jail time. It is against federal communications regulations to receive channels from another area fraudulently.
