Face Pocket
Posted in Watches on 08/23/2010 11:53 pm by adminI have oily skin, prone to acne and sun-tanned. Which is the best face-wash for me?
I used to have break-outs but got them treated medically. Now the problem has reduced, but not disappeared completely. I am slightly dark also, brown skin, you may say.
Which is the best face-wash, available in India, for me, that takes care of my acne problem and also helps me in getting fairer?
Should be easy on the pocket too ![]()
Please help.
use a day moisturiser containing spf15 or above. olay is a good brand, not too expensive and you can get moisturisers for oily skin.
make sure all skin products are labelled 'non comedogenic' or 'non acnegenic' which means they won't cause acne.
drink a lot of water (but not at the same time as eating as its bad for digestion), eat a very healthy diet and exercise regularly. it may be worth taking a vitamin B5 supplement, as this is beneficial for acne and oily skin. it does take a few months to work though, you do need to be patient with any treatments you use.
La Roche Posay, Vichy Normaderm, Avene and Cetaphil all do good ranges for acne and are brands recommended by dermatologists. Cetaphil is very gentle and is the slightly cheaper one. Use a cleanser and then a moisturiser with spf15 in the morning, then cleanse again at night and use a moisturiser for acne, like La Roche Posay effaclar or Vichy Normaderm moisturiser.
