Golden Plated

Not really much to add...God hid them up for Joseph Smith to translate...and He took them back when Joseph was done...
By the way, there was still a large sealed portion of the plates which are yet to be translated in the Lord's good time.
Mike64 is sadly mistaken about the true meaning of that scripture. Truly the Book of Mormon preaches the same Gospel as found in the New and Old Testaments, if it tried to denounce the Christ then it surely would be one of those which Paul warned of...like the Creeds that most Christians follow today.
