Hamilton Illinois

I am transferring to Illinois State University this fall and I wont have a chance to go tour the campus. I was thinking about living in Hamilton. Is it too far from the business and math building?....which dorm would be closest to those buildings? Also is there a lot of diversity on campus?...Im an International student myself and I dont want people to think Im wierd just because they dont interact a lot with people from outside the US. I dont really have many friends at my current school because people think Im too different which really isnt the case!
I am transferring to ISU as well this fall. From friends, I have heard that the best place to live is Hewitt and Manchester. It is not far from the quad and has nice dorms, but the only bad thing is that they do not have a cafeteria, you have to walk like half a block and use Watterson's cafeteria. I don't think you need to worry about being from another country, every usually matures by the time they enter college. Good luck!
