My sis is allergic to lik all types of metal-nickel,gold,silver-she gets an ictchy rash how'd U stop the itch

Any particular anti itch remedies that might make it easier to wear metal? She can't wear a watch or a belt w/out breaking out

To stop the itch try Benadryl (allergy medication) and put some cortisone cream on the rash. You can buy cortisone at the drugstore or you can get prescription strength stuff from the doc. I'm also allergic to metal (I used to get rashes on my stomach from the snaps on my sleeper when I was a baby) so I've totally been there.

Nail polish is good to coat the metal. Hairspray will also work in a pinch (though the nail polish will last longer).

I'm pretty sure almost no one is allergic to stainless/surgical steel so if she can find things made out of that, she shouldn't have a reaction (I have a stainless steel watch). As for the belt I wear mine done up to the side, rather that at the front so when I lean forwards, my stomach doesn't touch it as well as coating it in nail polish.

The allergic reaction to gold and silver is likely caused by nickel or some other cheap metal that has been added. Try 24kt gold (the most pure form that can be used to make jewlery) and always try to buy at a reputable, high end jewlery store rather than a department store.
