Hard drive not working?

When I start the computer the hard drive clicks three times then goes to the gateway screen that says bios press f2. When you try and go to bios nothing happens. This all happend after I tried to run a second hard drive to move all of my files because other problems are going on like it blue screening once and the Internet literaly dissapearing. It's a Sata drive type hard drive with no jumpers. Had a jumper that I put in it once but that was making it do the same thing and when I took it out it started up until my dad tried using the magnifier then it locked up. Did a hard shut down and now this. Sorry for any weird spelling I'm on an iPod. Thanks

The clicking is the Read/Write heads resetting to the stops and rescanning for the boot track.

Best thing you can do at this point is to use that new HDD to install your operating system and hopefully you will be able to access the original drive as a "second" drive to get your files off of it.
