I prepaid for some services from a company. They may be going out of business. Do I get a partial refund of what I paid if they go bancrupt and can't fully give me everything they promised in a CONTRACT to me.
You would become a creditor of the company and file a claim in bankruptcy court. Based on what assets the company has, you would get a percentage based on your claim compared to everyone else's. If the company has no assets, well then you're out of luck, contract or no contract.
