Beautiful Butterfly

i found the biggest most beautiful butterfly i have ever seen, in the grass today and he cant fly. i looked closer and he seems to have a half front leg missing, and maybe hes hurt, or fatigued, or stressed. what can i do to save him? he doesnt seem to even try anymore. i put him in a very large bucket with bark, branches, and leaves.. what else can i do?
Butterflies are fragile and easily injured. Your best bet is to research and find out what kind of butterfly you found, and put the appropriate food in the butterfly habitat you made. You may b able to keep it alive for a little while, but if it is hurt it is not likely to last long.
